That means when you order a blind from us you get peace of mind at every stage of the process… even once the blinds have been installed. Note: After the first year, for in person visits a call out fee will be charged.

We had a roller roof lantern blind (remote controlled) fitted last summer across a roof lantern in our south-facing kitchen. It is a God-send! We use it summer and winter on sunny days and cold nights. The room could be uncomfortably hot and too bright on a sunny summer day – now it is cool and pleasant with lovely diffused light.
The solar panel works a treat and as yet has not needed a mains recharge. It is a great piece of kit and was well worth the cost for us. Specialist Blinds were great to deal with from the outset.
We had a few quotes and they were the best. Paul, the surveyor, was excellent – he really knows his products. He brought a demonstration model which was really helpful.
We received very thorough advice from the sales person who came to our house. He seemed passionate and confident about the blinds he was advising us on. He pointed us to features we had not contemplated. There was a wide range of types of blinds + colours. We love the smaller string holes on our pleated blinds and the string in the colour of the blinds; a tiny feature with quite an impact.
Ordering was easy, we were told a time frame but in the end the blinds were ready to be fitted well ahead of schedule. Excellent communication throughout. The fitter was on time, friendly and fast working.

We have a glass-roofed side extension to our kitchen which made the room unbearably hot in sunny weather. The blinds that Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] installed have made a huge difference, making the room comfortable all year round.

They look great and they are easy to open and close. Very happy. My only gripe was the relatively long lead time between ordering (May) and fitting (July), probably because it was a busy time of year.
The sales person explained all options very thoroughly allowing us to make an informed decision and without pressure. The fitter visited us firstly to survey also bringing samples of the aluminium profiles for the framing and explaining what would be involved on the day of fitting.

The quote was within our budget and the timescale was acceptable. The engineer (Lex) carried out a survey and explained the installation process.
On the day of the installation (about 3 weeks later) Lex arrived on time, installed the blind and demonstrated the operation. The site was left clean and tidy. The blind has made a huge difference to the usability of the room and we would definitely recommend this company.
