We offer a wide range of apex window blinds for a variety of different styles and budgets. Due to our 25+ years of experience creating uniquely shaped blinds for conservatory roofs and gable-end conservatory blinds, we can often cover a large triangular window with minimal blinds. Gable blinds are installed on angled or triangular windows and each type has its benefit and can be modified to your specifications and style.
Our Pure™ Aspect Apex Window Blinds
Designed in our purpose-built factory in Ashford, Kent, we developed innovative technology to cover unique windows like gables with the neatest fit. Our blinds for apex windows cover the angled window and then drop down to cover rectangular or more standard-shaped windows below.
That way you sometimes only need two apex window blinds to shade your gable as well as a set of bi-fold doors below. Rather than installing bi-fold door blinds additionally, these blinds also retract away leaving a neat finish so you can enjoy your view without any interference from cables or wires.
“We had existing blinds for a gable window that were very poorly designed – so much so that we never opened them. Howard who came to provide the quote was so knowledgeable and able to provide an amazing solution that would allow us to fully open our blinds and finally enjoy the view from the top of the gable window. James carried out the survey, removed our old blinds and put up the new ones – he was very professional and excellent at his work. Would highly recommend this company!”

Vertical Gable Window Blinds
An alternative to our popular apex blinds is bespoke vertical blinds. Vertical blinds for gable-end windows are a more cost-effective solution and can do a great job of providing you with privacy, shading and while still allowing you to enjoy your view. Many people like vertical blinds due to the medium option between fully open and fully extended, where your blinds cover the gable, and your louvres are turned. This dapples the shade in your room and obscures the view whilst still allowing you to look out. We’ve made shaped vertical blinds for many years, but gable shapes are on the rise in popularity. Our verticals don’t fall back down due to gravity, like cheaper blind alternatives.
Blackout vertical blinds are particularly popular for bedrooms and are a great way to block out unwanted sunlight for a proper night’s rest. However, due to the gaps at top of your window, we recommend installing our Pure™ Aspect blinds for apex windows for complete coverage.
Both types of gable blinds can be installed as electric blinds such as smart blinds or remote control blinds. Automated blinds are ideal for large areas of glazing or when you want to control your blinds from the comfort of your sofa.
Alternative Apex Window Coverings
- Fixed Window Shutters – Fixed shutters can provide a sturdy solution that blocks out light well. However, the shutters will always partially block your view and can sometimes appear bulky.
- Curtains – Curtains are a simple way to cover your window and can be cost-effective. However, you often lose the shape of your gable entirely and the excess material doesn’t fold away in the same neat manner as our Pure™ Aspect blinds
