Our most popular blinds for conservatories. Dual-layer honeycomb fabrics will help your room keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The perfect practical solution.
Duette® honeycomb fabrics are extremely popular in conservatories thanks to their thermal properties. The extra insulation layer helps control temperature, increases privacy and reduces glare.

A lot of companies offer Duette® or other honeycomb fabrics. However, it’s the combination of our unique Pure™ technology that means they can fit into more complex spaces with fewer gaps than other blinds on the market.
The real differences are in how the blinds fit, thanks to our own Pure™ blinds technology. Our concealed fixings and contoured rail components, all exclusive to Specialist Blinds, mean less focus on the blinds and more on your interior or garden.
It’s the little details that make all the difference… From custom-coloured components to bespoke motorisation options, they all add up to create blinds like no other, just for your space.
All our blinds are made in our own factory by teams of experts with years of experience. The blinds themselves are fitted by installers that have undergone second-to-none industry training, so you know you’re getting the highest quality product.

The two main types of pleated fabric are single pleat – like our Solar Design™ fabrics – and dual-pleat, or honeycomb style fabrics.
The dual-pleat style fabrics, like Duette®, have two layers of fabric arranged in a honeycomb pattern, so there are air pockets within the fabric itself. These air pockets then create an extra layer of insulation, making the fabric better at controlling heat.
There are several ranges of honeycomb fabrics that offer room-darkening properties with aluminium backing.
However, with any blackout or dim-out fabrics, you have to be careful of how and where they are fitted. We do not recommend the use of any aluminium-backed blinds in conservatory roofs, as the heat build up that can be caused can in some cases damage the conservatory itself.

The initial visit was very good, including discussion of different options. Not too long, as with another company. And no undue sales pressure!
Instant quotation, which was very competitive. Survey and installation done to a very good standard, with appropriate demonstration and attention to child safety.
High quality product.
We started with a non-pushy salesman who knew exactly how the product functioned, took into account what I wanted, explaining and advising every step of the way.
The fitter was brilliant, no fuss, no mess and he ensured I was completely happy with the fitting as he proceeded. When he—not me—was not happy with the result at the end he adjusted the blind mechanism so that everything worked perfectly. It was an excellent job, totally customer orientated and an excellent product. I would certainly recommend the company.
