Gable Blinds 3

Triangle windows are now a staple feature for any grand new build. They can take full advantage of your wall space and follow the slant of your roof for an expansive feature window or can be a simple gable within your conservatory. However, with large windows comes blinds for large windows and unique triangular blinds such as gable blinds. We’ve seen many customers with a rectangular curtain covering their gable or the whole gable left uncovered because they didn’t know gable blinds were possible. For blind specialists, like ourselves, we fit triangle window blinds with maximum coverage that still retract away to the point of near-invisibility. We are able to tailor our blinds to almost all unique window shapes due to our many years of experience making and fitting blinds for conservatories.

Standard blind suppliers can sometimes make their own form of triangular window blinds. However, they are sometimes fixed in place which therefore imposes on your view or uses a handful of blinds that are more time-consuming to operate. Our pureaspect™ gable blinds or vertical blinds cover a triangular shape with just two blinds.

Apex Blinds on Triangle Windows

Can you put Blinds on Triangle Windows?

Our pureaspect™ technology is great for blinds for apex windows . We typically refer to ‘apex windows’ as gable window with a set of doors below. Apex blinds work by dropping over the angled window then extend over the rectangular shape. To cover a triangular window, we require just two blinds and could cover the gable and doors below with just that. They also retract away extremely neatly for a neat integrated finish.

However, some customers looking for floor-to-ceiling blinds often make more use of their doors than their gable window above. Another option in that case, is to have bi-fold door blinds that fit against each individual panel such as our Duette® Thermal Blinds and then gable blinds above.

Gable Blinds

Even if you don’t have a set of doors below and instead just have a gable window or a gable-end window in your conservatory, we can still help you with triangular window blinds. Many people with large gable windows, often choose to have these as their master bedroom for the outdoor views. However, these can be uncomfortable in the evenings when it’s dark outside and your lights are on in your home. Invest in gable blinds to increase your privacy and have the option for dim-out blinds for a darker room and more restful sleep.

Vertical Blinds for Triangle Windows

A notable cost-effective solution which has different benefits to our pureaspect™ range is our vertical blindsVertical blinds for gable-end windows allow you to customise your shade. You can limit/access your view by extending your blinds entirely and turning the louvres different directions. On the other hand, you can simply retract the blinds entirely. These are a great option if you have vertical blinds in other areas and would like a cohesive look throughout.

In summary, we have many different options of blinds for triangle windows that we can help you with. Just get in touch for a free quotation appointment and advice!
