Duette® Blinds fitted in a set of Folding Doors

Duette® Blinds fitted in a set of Folding Doors

This timber orangery in Staffordshire featured two sets of bi-folding doors. Fitting blinds in bi-folding doors requires an extremely neat fit, as if the blinds stick out too far they can get in the way of the doors folding back properly.

Luckily, because we fit our Duette® blinds using the same rails we use for our pure™ Pleated Blinds we were able to neatly fit the blinds against the glass.

The blinds were fitted using a "floating rail", meaning that they are able to be both retracted down from the top and up from the bottom, and even both at the same time so that the fabric 'floats' in the middle of the glass.

These roof blinds installed in The Orangerie at Cannizaro House are designed to control the temperature in the room, in order to keep it comfortable for the guests dining within.

The unique honeycomb structure of the Duette® blinds gives then an extra degree of insulation, which makes them very effective as keeping heat from building up inside a conservatory.

Pinoleum Roof Blinds in a Complex Conservatory

Pinoleum Roof Blinds in a Complex Conservatory

Close-up of pinoleum roof blinds recess-fitted in a complex timber conservatory roof in Surrey.

Notice the attention to detail in shaping the pinoleum blinds adjacent to the valley (blinds to the far right and left of the image). It would have been much easier (and cheaper) to have made these blinds completely rectangular but this would have created a gap along most of the length of the blind.

Kitchen Conservatory Blinds

Kitchen Conservatory Blinds

Our pure™ Pleated Blinds fitted into the roof, windows and folding doors of this conservatory in Hampshire, shown here partially retracted.

As you can see in the image, the conservatory is actually part of an extension that is attached to a kitchen. Because of the extra airborne dust and fat that a kitchen can have, it means that blinds have the potential to get dirtier more quickly than they would in a normal conservatory. This is where one of the unique benefits of our pure™ Pleated Blinds comes in handy - they are totally washable. It is easy to remove the blinds and clean them, so that the blinds stay looking like new, even in an environment such as this.

Remote Control Pure Aspect Gable Blind

Remote Control Pure Aspect Gable Blind

Manually operated pleated roof blinds and our unique remote control pureaspect™ gable blinds installed in Worthing, West Sussex in July 2010.

The Barley Crush solar reflective fabric within the roof blinds is ideal for adding a slight hint of colour without darkening the conservatory or tinting the light. Our Solar Design pleated roof blinds do not need thick black wires to support them and so they appear much neater than other pleated blind ranges.

Our pureaspect™ gable blinds can be completely retracted so that the glass is left completely clear - with no wires, cords or cables hanging down.
